THIS YEAR WE'RE SPOTLIGHTING INTERNATIONAL CHOREOGRAPHER TAIKI (KING OF SWAG) FROM TOKYO JAPAN. TAIKI WILL BE CHOREOGRAPHING A SWAG STYLE STUDENT SHOWCASE ITEM, AND WILL BE TEACHING WORKSHOPS IN OUR SWAG DANCE CAMP. VIBECHECK SHOWCASE NIGHT WILL ALSO HIGHLIGHT OUR 3 STANDOUT CHOREOGRAPHERS FROM AK.KREATES - SHAMEY, GWYN AND FABERLYN. EACH OF THEM WILL HEADLINE WITH THEIR STUDENT SHOWCASES EMBODYING THEIR SIGNATURE STYLE AND VISION TO THE STAGE!

TAIKI STUDENT SHOWCASE
TAIKI (King of Swag) TOKYO, JAPAN
Taiki is a core member of King of Swag and the founder of JUICY JAM, one of Tokyos leading street jams. Known for his expressive, flavorful groove and individuality, he brings a unique energy in his showcases and battles. He is actively involved in Tokyos street dance scene, performances and often invited for workshops and masterclasses in China and Korea region. He specialises in Hip Hop particularly New school Hip Hop where his style is influenced by the West and East Coast. He aspires to inspire the dance community through street education, fashion and dance and encourages everyone who loves dance to represent their individual authenticity and freedom of expression.
Taiki will be creating an exclusive student showcase item for Vibecheck 2025 - an experience crafted to reflect our commitment to innovation, growth, artistry and community. Hand selected through video auditions, the featured dancers will train and perform under Taikis renowned creative direction in street dance.
